Who we are

This shop is run by شركة أحمد صالح الشراح وشركاه لصنع الصابون والمنظفات ومستحضرات التنظيف والتلميع والعطور ومستحضرات التجميل (ذ.م.م), commercial registration 548774. Scale Up, a marketing agency, runs the website for the shop.

What we collect

• Your order: perfumes, quantities, amount, any discount code and the payment method.
• Delivery details: name, phone number, the full address (governorate, area, block, street, house and so on) and notes.
• Your email, if you type it at checkout.
• Your agreement to receive offers, if you tick it at checkout, kept with the time you agreed and the exact words you agreed to.
• Your location on the map, only if you tap "Use my location" or send a Google Maps link.
• If you ask "Tell me when it's back": your WhatsApp number and the perfume.
• Your review of perfumes you bought, if you send one: the stars, the comment and the name you chose to show.
• Where your visit came from (ad link values such as utm).
• In your browser only: your cart and language, which reach us only when you order.
• If you tick "Save my details for next time" at checkout, your name, phone number and address are kept in your own browser on your device only, not on our servers, and you can clear them at any time.

Why

• To fulfil and deliver your order and contact you about it, to send one WhatsApp message when a perfume is back if you asked, and to measure and improve our ads. We send no other marketing unless you agree, and we never sell your data.
• We send your invoice and order details to your email if you give it. If you agree to offers and reminders, we send you Scent Code offers and news, and one reminder if you don't finish an order, by email and WhatsApp. You can stop them at any time with the "Stop these emails" link in an email or by replying «إيقاف» on WhatsApp, and we keep your request so we don't message you again.
• After your order is delivered we ask you once to review the perfumes you bought: by email if you gave one, and on WhatsApp if you agreed to offers. If you send a review, we check it and publish it in the shop with the name you chose, your area (unless you choose to hide it) and a "Verified purchase" mark, and we may reply to it. We never show your number, email or address. You can ask us to delete your review at any time.

Who sees it

• The shop's team, to prepare and deliver your order.
• Scale Up, which runs the website for the shop.
• Upayments and your bank, to take the payment. You type your card details on their pages; they never reach us.
• Telegram: when you pay, your order details (name, phone, area, address, notes and the location link if any) go to a private channel for the shop's team only, to prepare the order. If you don't finish an order, your name, phone number and the perfumes you chose go there too.
• WhatsApp (Meta) when you message us, and for the review request if you agreed to offers.
• Resend, to send our emails.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to measure ads: your browsing events on the site, IP address, browser type and Meta's cookies.
• Google to load the fonts, and Railway to host the site.

Where it is kept

The site, its database and its backups are hosted on Railway's servers in the Netherlands, and a nightly backup copy is kept in a Dropbox account run by Scale Up, so orders cannot be lost. Some of the services above process data on their own servers outside Kuwait.

How long

• Orders and their invoices: as long as Kuwait's commercial and accounting laws require.
• "Tell me when it's back" numbers: deleted once you are told, or 30 days after the perfume is back.
• An order not paid ends after 4 hours; its details stay in the order records.
• A request to stop messages: kept for as long as the shop sends offers, so we don't message you again.
• Reviews: kept while the perfume is in the shop, deleted 30 days after it is removed, or whenever you ask us to delete them.
• Daily backups: deleted after 14 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, on WhatsApp +965 9673 1952 or email info@scentcodekw.com. We reply within 14 days.
